2022 is nearly here! The past year has been ‘unique’ for us all, from how business is operated to how our home lives are run with the omnipresent Covid.
As we approach the new year, we want to take a moment to look at the positives there have been, reflect on some of the good times!
We have greatly enjoyed working on a variety of exciting projects, including a fantastic fit-out and refurbish job that we are immensely proud of.
We know that we are very fortunate that 2021 has been a record-breaking year for us.
Our whole team would like to share with you some of the highlights of the year in this article, and maybe we can inspire you with ideas for your office in 2022.
DermaPure
DermaPure got in touch in August of this year with various areas that they wanted to discuss with us for revamping and redesigning their new Weybridge unit.
They were looking to have stud partitioning installed as well as a kitchenette, training room, office and staff room.
It was a sizable job that we were thrilled to be working on.
We completed this project by October, which included decorating all stud partition walls, fitting out kitchen cabinetry, reconfiguring the clock room, and much more.
We were delighted with how this project turned out and enjoyed bringing a bang-on-trend minimalistic style to DermaPure.
Freedom Works
Having had the pleasure of working previously with Freedom Works, we were happy to be contacted again for a huge project they had in mind.
Over the years, we have worked with Freedom Works to install glass partitioning throughout their premises. When they contacted us earlier this year, they were going to be moving premises as their current building was due for demolition.
They wanted us to relocate their existing partitioning to their new location in Worthing. This would be an interesting project and we were ready to rise to the challenge!
We successfully transported and installed the existing partitioning to their new location and finished this project in October.
With only four small pieces of glass needing to be newly sourced, we felt this was a triumphant achievement!
Freedom Works benefited from reusing their glass partitions, meaning it kept the cost low and they observed how their partitioning can be reused time and again.
This project was challenging and exciting at the same time.
Our team were proud of the sustainability aspect of this job and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of reusing existing partitions and recreating their space in their new premises.
Heath Vets
Finally, we look back at our Heath Vets project.
Back in October 2020, they reached out to us.
They were looking to occupy the former Dinnages Dealership Building in Burgess Hill which would need to be refurbished, redesigned and rebuilt, ready for them to move in and take over the premises.
We were enthusiastic about working on this project as the scope for design appealed to our creative team and we produced well-thought-out, exciting ideas and plans for their new site. Once plans were approved, we removed everything in the building, ready to start fresh with a blank canvas.
We installed partitioning, a mezzanine, a suspended ceiling, electrical installation, air conditioning, a fresh air system, and double glazed windows and doors.
The veterinary clinic had a complete overhaul, resulting in:
- A bright and open reception
- A waiting room
- Three consultation rooms
- A dispensary
- An office
- Two operating theatres
- A groomers area
- A staffroom
- A utility room
- A lab
- An X-ray room
- Isolation rooms
- Kennels
- Cattery
- A bin store
We completed this in September, and the client was very pleased with our team and the finish of the work.
We all loved how well this project turned out.
2021 has been a fantastic year for us here at Sussex & Surrey Partitioning. We enjoyed bringing projects to life and seeing the results of our hard work.
